Write for us

United Stadium Stories welcomes pitches that reveal something specific about stadiums, matchday experience, supporter traditions or the histories and design of sporting grounds.

Pitches that fit

Send a concise proposal with a working title, the central question, the intended reader and a short note on how you would develop the piece. Strong ideas have a distinct angle, useful context and a clear reason to interest readers beyond one match.

What to leave out

We are not looking for routine match reports, promotional copy or unsupported claims about supporters and clubs. Tell us what material the piece would draw on, and flag any access, image or attribution needs. Do not send confidential material.

How to send an idea

Proposals are sent through the Contact page. Choose the editorial question option and include your pitch in the message. A proposal is not a commission, and we will discuss scope and terms before agreeing to any work.

Our view from the stands

A stadium is part of the story

The game matters, but so do the ground, the crowd and the traditions carried through its gates. We look at how those pieces fit together.
